Analysis: The 24-year-old Carpenter joined the Angels for the start of their three-game series Friday against the New York Yankees. His first appearance will mark his major league debut. Carpenter was promoted to help a bullpen that couldn't hold leads against Minnesota on Wednesday and Thursday, sending the Angels to a 2-4 start. |
