Analysis: Recker was a member of Oakland's opening day roster but was sent to Triple-A Sacramento after hitting .129 in 31 at-bats over 13 games. Recker has hit .146 in 18 big league games overall, while he's put up a .273 average with 98 homers in eight seasons in the minors. The Cubs assigned Recker to Triple-A Iowa. |
