Analysis: Bard was not given a specific injury designation but has struggled throughout the spring and in the World Baseball Classic, where he was lit up for eight runs in only 1.2 innings of work for Team USA. It looks like the Rockies are giving him a little more time to work out his issues and will turn closer's duties to either Brad Hand or Pierce Johnson for now. |
