Analysis: Porcello (2-2, 5.92 ERA) allowed one run and five hits in 5 2-3 innings with six strikeouts and a walk. He's 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA in four starts since giving up nine runs in two-thirds of an inning April 20 against the Los Angeles Angels.

Analysis: Porcello still didn't get the win so he stays at 1-2, though his ERA improved to a still-unsightly 7.52.

Analysis: Porcello (1-2) allowed three runs in 6 1-3 innings. He was convinced his previous start at Los Angeles wasn't as bad as it looked - but this was an important showing for the 24-year-old who wasn't assured of a spot in Detroit's rotation until he won a job in spring training.

Analysis: Porcello was 10-12 with a 4.59 ERA in 31 starts for the AL champions last season. He is 3-1 with a 3.00 ERA in six spring training appearances.
