Romo's two-year deal, announced Wednesday, calls for salaries of $3.5 million this season and $5.5 million in 2014.
Analysis: He can earn an additional $200,000 in performance bonuses this year: $50,000 each for 35, 40, 45 and 50 games finished. His 2014 salary would escalate based on games finished this year, to $5.6 million for 30, $5.7 million for 32, $5.85 million for 37, $6 million for 42, $6.15 million for 47, $6.3 million for 52 and $6.5 million for 55.

The deal announced Wednesday means the Giants have settled all of their potential arbitration cases before hearings.
Analysis: Romo, who made $1,575,000 last season, had asked for $4.5 million in 2013 with the Giants offering $2,675,000. Romo will be eligible to be a free agent after the 2014 season. Romo went 4-2 with 14 saves and a 1.79 ERA last season. He was the team's primary closer in the postseason, when he had one win, four saves and a 0.84 ERA in 10 appearances.
