Analysis: Lincecum was 2-6 with a 9.16 ERA in nine starts with Los Angeles in his return from left hip surgery last September.

He exited the game with one out in the fourth and his ERA has now climbed to 9.16. "We're going to have to sit down and review his video and see where the positives were and see what we are," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said.
Analysis: Pitching in his hometown for just the second time in his career, Lincecum almost didn't make it out of the first inning after giving up seven hits and bringing 10 batters to the plate. Lincecum was already teetering in the Angels' rotation, and Friday's rough start could finally lead them to make a move. It was his third straight start giving up at least four runs.

Analysis: Lincecum has been almost astonishingly bad since throwing six innings of one-run ball in his Angels debut. He has a 10.50 ERA in his six starts since, averaging four innings of work, and opponents are hitting .427 while posting a 1.249 OPS. He's allowed five homers in his last 6 1/3 innings.

Analysis: Lincecum gave up nine hits and five runs in five innings, but also escaped several jams. He struck out seven. "He pitched a lot better than his linescore, that's for sure," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. "I thought today was a step forward for him."

Analysis: Lincecum has faced the Rangers three times, most famously in the 2012 World Series, where he went 2-0 with a 3.29 ERA.

Analysis: Possessing a 6.85 ERA and playing for a last-place team, Lincecum's value is just about non-existent at the moment. On a positive note, he delivered his longest outing since tossing six innings of one-run ball in his Angels' debut on June 18.
|July 6 10:29 AM PT11:29 AM MT12:29 PM CT1:29 PM ET13:29 ET17:29 GMT1:29 10:29 AM MST12:29 PM EST12:59 PM VEN21:29 UAE12:29 PM CT-Lincecum was ripped for career high-tying 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings Tuesday, giving up all of the Rays' runs in the Angels' 13-5 win.
Analysis: Since going six innings of one-run ball to win his Angels debut, Lincecum has failed to get through five innings in three straight starts while posting a 10.50 ERA. He's given up 25 hits in that span, so the former Cy Young Award winner clearly isn't a fantasy option just yet.

Analysis: After throwing six innings of one-run ball to win his Angels' debut on June 18, Lincecum has been lit up for nine runs and 15 hits while failing to go beyond 4 1/3 innings in his two subsequent starts. The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner isn't a recommended play at the moment.

Analysis: Lincecum is now 1-1 with a 5.00 ERA in two starts since resuming a career that was sidetracked by injury in recent seasons.

Analysis: The four-time All-Star struck out two and walked two before leaving to a raucous ovation from the crowd of 25,078. The 32-year-old righty hadn't pitched in the majors since last June 27. He had hip surgery in September, signed with the Angels in May and made three starts in the minors.

The right-hander starts for the Los Angeles Angels at Oakland on Saturday in his first major league appearance in nearly a year.
Analysis: The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner had surgery on Sept. 3 and didn't immediately sign with a team after concluding a $35 million, two-year deal with San Francisco last season. Lincecum said he is throwing all his pitches with confidence and isn't concerned with his velocity as long as he maintains a good rhythm through an outing.

|May 16 1:34 PM PT2:34 PM MT3:34 PM CT4:34 PM ET16:34 ET20:34 GMT4:34 1:34 PM MST3:34 PM EST4:04 PM VEN0:34 UAE (+1)3:34 PM CT-Lincecum has finalized a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Angels, a person with knowledge of the negotiations told the Associated Press.
Analysis: Lincecum, recovering from left hip surgery that cut short his 2015 season in late June, received interest from several teams after throwing 41 pitches in a workout in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 6. The two-time NL Cy Young Award should receive an opportunity to start on an Angels team currently without Garrett Richards, C.J. Wilson and Andrew Heaney due to injury.
