Analysis: Miller, acquired from the Yankees shortly before the trade deadline, had gone 9 for 11 in save opportunities with New York. This was Cleveland's first chance for a save since Miller was acquired, though he is supposed to be splitting the closer duties with Cody Allen.

Analysis: It doesn't appear the move will make Miller a candidate for saves because Cody Allen is expected to stay in the closer role for Cleveland. However, Miller remains one of the best setup men in baseball and could earn even more holds for the AL Central leaders. He's 6-1 with a 1.39 ERA, averaging an astounding 15.3 strikeouts per nine innings.

Analysis: Miller's fantasy value received a big boost with Monday's trade, as he'll now operate as the Yankees' closer. The veteran lefty converted all six of his save chances when Chapman was suspended the first 30 games for violating MLB's domestic violence policy.

Analysis: Miller had help from home plate umpire Ron Kulpa, who called David Ortiz out on strikes on a questionable full-count pitch. He's thrown 11 2/3 scoreless innings to begin the season, though his days as the Yankees' closer could be numbered with Aroldis Chapman nearing a return from suspension.

Acquired from the Cincinnati Reds in December, Chapman is taking over from Miller as the New York Yankees closer this season. The left-hander routinely surpasses 100 mph with his fastball.
Analysis: With Chapman closing, Miller will join Dellin Betances in a set-up role. Miller was 36 for 38 in save chances with a 2.04 ERA last year in his first season with the Yankees. Betances had a 1.50 ERA in a career-high 74 games.
