Analysis: Broxton's elbow bothered him during the week. He had an ultrasound on Friday that found swelling in the elbow. The Reds put him on the disabled list a day later. He's replaced by right-hander Pedro Villarreal, who was called up from Triple-A Louisville earlier in the month to make an emergency start when Johnny Cueto went on the disabled list for the second time this season. |
