Analysis: The blister problems that plagued Hill earlier in the season are clearly a thing of the past. The 37-year-old southpaw has a 1.73 ERA in his last four starts, walking six and striking out 35 in 26 innings.
July 2 10:10 AM PT11:10 AM MT12:10 PM CT1:10 PM ET13:10 ET17:10 GMT1:10 10:10 AM MST12:10 PM EST12:40 PM VEN21:10 UAE12:10 PM CT-Rich Hill improved to 5-4, allowing four hits and one walk over 7.0 scoreless innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Diego Padres 8-0 on Saturday. Hill struck out 11, ending the game with a 4.00 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: It was an eventful game for Hill, who matched his career high in strikeouts set Sept. 6, 2006, against Pittsburgh while with the Chicago Cubs and equaled June 7, 2007, against Atlanta. Hill had his first career multihit game as well as his first hit of the season was his first since June 19, 2009, at Philadelphia while with Baltimore.
June 27 9:33 AM PT10:33 AM MT11:33 AM CT12:33 PM ET12:33 ET16:33 GMT0:33 9:33 AM MST11:33 AM EST12:03 PM VEN20:33 UAE11:33 AM CT-Rich Hill fell to 4-4, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks in 7.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Los Angeles Angels 4-0 on Monday. Hill struck out seven, ending the game with a 4.60 ERA and 1.45 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: The left-hander had not pitched more than five innings in any of his nine starts before Monday. Only one of the four hits he allowed was well struck, and Hill retired 12 of the last 13 hitters he faced. ''We lost a baseball game, but the biggest win is for Rich to give us seven innings, and pitch the way that 2016 Rich threw the baseball,'' Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.
June 22 8:21 AM PT9:21 AM MT10:21 AM CT11:21 AM ET11:21 ET15:21 GMT23:21 8:21 AM MST10:21 AM EST10:51 AM VEN19:21 UAE10:21 AM CT-Rich Hill improved to 4-3, allowing one run on four hits and three walks in 5.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Mets 8-2 on Wednesday. Hill struck out a season-high eight, ending the game with a 4.73 ERA and 1.55 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Hill improved to 3-1 over his last five starts. though he hasn't pitched beyond five innings in any of those outings and was blasted for seven runs in four frames at Cleveland in his previous assignment. The 37-year-old is generally a solid fantasy play, though his high risk of injury and Dave Roberts' quick hook put a cap on his overall upside.
June 15 2:06 PM PT3:06 PM MT4:06 PM CT5:06 PM ET17:06 ET21:06 GMT5:06 2:06 PM MST4:06 PM EST4:36 PM VEN1:06 UAE (+1)4:06 PM CT-Rich Hill fell to 3-3, allowing seven runs on eight hits and two walks in 4.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Cleveland Indians 12-5 on Thursday. Hill struck out four, ending the game with a 5.14 ERA and 1.57 WHIP on the season.

June 10 11:07 AM PT12:07 PM MT1:07 PM CT2:07 PM ET14:07 ET18:07 GMT2:07 11:07 AM MST1:07 PM EST1:37 PM VEN22:07 UAE1:07 PM CT-Rich Hill improved to 3-2, allowing one run on two hits and three walks in 5.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Cincinnati Reds 7-2 on Friday. Hill struck out five, ending the game with a 3.77 ERA and 1.45 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Hill hasn't pitched past the fifth inning in any of his seven starts, but he's given up only one run in four of them.
June 4 9:41 AM PT10:41 AM MT11:41 AM CT12:41 PM ET12:41 ET16:41 GMT0:41 9:41 AM MST11:41 AM EST12:11 PM VEN20:41 UAE11:41 AM CT-Rich Hill allowed three runs - two earned - on three hits and four walks in 4.0 innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 10-8 on Saturday. Hill struck out five, ending the game with a 4.15 ERA and 1.54 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Hill needed 97 pitches to get through four innings Saturday, not one of his best efforts. We expect him to get back on track next time out, provided he doesn't get a blister.
May 29 5:12 PM PT6:12 PM MT7:12 PM CT8:12 PM ET20:12 ET0:12 GMT8:12 5:12 PM MST7:12 PM EST7:42 PM VEN4:12 UAE (+1)7:12 PM CT-Rich Hill improved to 2-2, allowing one run on two hits and two walks in 5.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 5-1 on Monday. Hill struck out four, ending the game with a 4.09 ERA and 1.50 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Hill faced the Cardinals five days earlier and was brutal, issuing a career-high seven walks while allowing five runs in four innings, but didn't allow a hit until the fourth in a much sharper effort this time out. The Dodgers continue to be cautious with the injury-prone 37-year-old, though, as he's yet to throw more than 86 pitches or go beyond five innings this season.
May 25 10:29 AM PT11:29 AM MT12:29 PM CT1:29 PM ET13:29 ET17:29 GMT1:29 10:29 AM MST12:29 PM EST12:59 PM VEN21:29 UAE12:29 PM CT-Rich Hill fell to 1-2, allowing five runs on four hits and seven walks in 4.0 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 on Wednesday. Hill struck out four, ending the game with a 4.76 ERA and 1.71 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: It was a career high in walks and a season high in runs allowed for Hill, who was pulled after failing to record an out in the fifth. It was his second start after missing a month due to blister problems, something he has battled since last season. However, Hill says he's healthy and that his finger wasn't an issue. ''I can't really pinpoint it right now,'' Hill said of his problems.

Hill struck out six, ending the game with a 2.77 ERA and 1.38 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: After missing a month with recurring blisters on his hand, this is the type of effort the Dodgers have to be happy to see.
Apr. 17 5:25 PM PT6:25 PM MT7:25 PM CT8:25 PM ET20:25 ET0:25 GMT8:25 5:25 PM MST7:25 PM EST7:55 PM VEN4:25 UAE (+1)7:25 PM CT-Hill, on the disabled list for the second time this season with a blister on his left middle finger, was removed from the DL on Tuesday and is slated to return to the rotation in San Francisco.
Analysis: Hill, who dealt with blister issues last season as well, has gone 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in two starts so far.
Apr. 16 5:01 PM PT6:01 PM MT7:01 PM CT8:01 PM ET20:01 ET0:01 GMT8:01 5:01 PM MST7:01 PM EST7:31 PM VEN4:01 UAE (+1)7:01 PM CT-Hill (1-1) was activated from the disabled list before this start after missing time with a blister on his left middle finger, but he re-aggravated the blister and made it only three innings and 54 pitches before leaving.
Analysis: The left-hander allowed two runs, five hits and two walks and struck out two. This is a problem that's not going away any time soon.
Apr. 7 12:57 PM PT1:57 PM MT2:57 PM CT3:57 PM ET15:57 ET19:57 GMT3:57 12:57 PM MST2:57 PM EST3:27 PM VEN23:57 UAE2:57 PM CT-Hill (blister) will come off the 10-day disabled list to start Sunday against Arizona. .
Analysis: The veteran lefty missed only one start with the issue, though there's the risk the blister resurfaces or that he'll be put on a pitch count. Hill walked three in five innings in his season debut on April 5, but fanned five and held the Padres to one run and two hits in a 3-1 Dodgers' victory.
Apr. 6 10:10 AM PT11:10 AM MT12:10 PM CT1:10 PM ET13:10 ET17:10 GMT1:10 10:10 AM MST12:10 PM EST12:40 PM VEN21:10 UAE12:10 PM CT-Hill held the Padres to a run on two hits while striking out five over five innings to win Wednesday's season debut.
Analysis: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts gave Hill the hook after only 75 pitches, an indication that the team will be careful with the 37-year-old after he dealt with several nagging injuries a year ago. Hill has been rock-solid when he does take the mound, sporting a 4-2 record and a 1.83 ERA in seven regular-season starts since being acquired by Los Angeles from Oakland in August.
