Analysis: Crawford went on the 15-day DL on April 28. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Crawford is ''getting better, but he hasn't started swinging or doing any baseball (activities). It's been over a month.''

Analysis: This is Crawford's seventh stint on the DL in 14 major league seasons, and fourth since joining the Dodgers in August 2012 as part of a blockbuster trade with the Red Sox that also brought first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and pitcher Josh Beckett to Los Angeles.
