MacDougal gets a salary of $650,000 for 2012. The 2013 option is for $2.35 million, or a $350,000 buyout. Analysis: The 34-year-old right-hander had a 2.05 ERA with a 3-1 record and one save in his first year with the Dodgers last season. He was second on the team with 57.0 innings pitched while making a career-high 69 appearances. He limited opposing hitters to a .157 batting average and allowed 17 of his team-high 51 inherited runners to score. MacDougal had two streaks of 11 consecutive scoreless innings last season. |
