Analysis: It's the lefthander's first victory since June 26. Perez had been 04 with a 6.31 ERA over his previous seven starts, though he's now yielded one earned run or fewer in three of his past four.

The Astros got to him for four runs in the third. Analysis: Perez lost his fourth straight decision and has a 7.07 ERA over his last six outings. He hasn't won since June 26 against Boston. His next start will be Wednesday against a Rockies team he has a 6.55 ERA in two starts against.

Analysis: Perez is now winless (03) in five straight starts and owns a wretched 9.14 ERA over his past four. The lefty has allowed five or more runs in each of those outings and opponents are hitting .354 off him during that stretch.

Analysis: The lefthander is 12 with a 6.11 ERA over his last five outings

He pitched six solid innings while working behind a number of hitters, the first six Texas batters reached for an early lead and the Rangers beat the Boston Red Sox 62 on Sunday. Analysis: Perez matched the longest winning streak of his career, from 2013, despite throwing more balls than strikes into the fifth inning.

Analysis: Perez, who had only walked a combined four batters in his previous three starts, has issued an ALworst 36 walks. However, he has a 2.65 ERA over his last nine outings. Perez is 03 with a 4.20 ERA in five starts on the road, and his next scheduled start is Tuesday in Oakland.

Analysis: Perez (44, 3.24 ERA) gave up three runs in six innings and has a 2.50 ERA during his win streak.
