Analysis: Frieri was 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA in 11 appearances before Thursday's trade. He was the longest tenured player in the Padres organization, signing as a non-drafted free agent at 17 in January 2003. The native of Colombia made his big league debut with San Diego in 2009. |
