Jaguars without Fournette for showdown with Texans

By The Associated Press

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without running back Leonard Fournette against Houston because of a right quadriceps injury.

Fournette missed practice all week and had been listed as questionable. It will be the third game the rookie has missed. He sat out Week 7 with an ankle injury and Week 9 because he was benched for violating an undisclosed team rule. The Jaguars won both of those games.

The Texans will have receiver DeAndre Hopkins (toe) and linebacker/defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (knee/illness) in the starting lineup after being listed as questionable.

For the Bengals, Dre Kirkpatrick, Vontaze Burfict and Nick Vigil are among five starters in the back seven of their defense who won't play against Minnesota because of injuries. Running back Joe Mixon will miss his second straight game because of a concussion.

Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is active despite a sprained ankle that originally had him listed on Friday as doubtful. He was upgraded to questionable on Saturday.

Buffalo Bills receiver Kelvin Benjamin is active to play against Miami a week after aggravating an injury to his right knee, but Bills rookie backup quarterback Nathan Peterman (concussion) and guard John Miller (ankle) had already been ruled out.
