Kindle inactive for Ravens; Hernandez out for Pats

BALTIMORE (AP) Ravens linebacker Sergio Kindle was among seven players on Baltimore's inactive list for Sunday night's game against the New England Patriots.

Kindle played last week in place of Paul Kruger, who was out with a back injury. Kruger returned Sunday night.

Wide receiver Torrey Smith was expected to start for Baltimore, even though his younger brother was killed late Saturday night in motorcycle accident.

New England's inactives included tight end Aaron Hernandez and defensive linemen Justin Francis and Brandon Deaderick, all of whom have ankle injuries. Also inactive: running back Shane Vereen, defensive back Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Nick McDonald and defensive end Jake Bequette.

Baltimore's other inactives: wide receiver LaQuan Williams, defensive back Asa Jackson, offensive tackle Jah Reid, tight end Billy Jajema and defense tackle Bryan Hall.
