Daily look at Manning in Broncos training camp

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) A look at Peyton Manning's day at Denver Broncos training camp:

PEYTON'S PLACE: Manning was spot-on during red zone, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11 work Friday, completing almost all of his passes.

HOW'D HE DO?: With Eric Decker working his way back from a strained groin, Demaryius Thomas again came up big for Manning, hauling in several nice catches, including a fade into the left corner for a TD. Manning showed his intrinsic value when he spent several minutes tutoring his backups during an individual end zone drill with no defenders around.

MANNINGMANIA: The Broncos are expecting 30,000-plus fans for their summer scrimmage Saturday night at Sports Authority Field. The largest crowd ever to watch them practice was 20,782 on Aug. 7, 2010.

TALKING MANNING: "A lot. You can see him slinging the ball around, so those defensive guys back up a bit." - Knowshon Moreno on how Manning is helping the Broncos' ground game.
