Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 12): Trust me, these guys will push 49ers in NFC West.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 18) Rookie Bruce Irvin has to take pressure off Chris Clemons on pass rush.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 21): It's all about the QB in Seattle. Defense will be stingy and they can run ball, but to win more than Seahawks lose Matt Flynn has to come through.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 22): Team that finished strong in 2011 needs competition to bring best out of QB position; it hasn't been good since Pete Carroll arrived.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 22): Matt Flynn will have to earn starting job, but if he can't beat out Tarvaris Jackson, then Seattle's problems are bigger than we thought.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 22): Even if Matt Flynn is an upgrade at quarterback, offensive line and receivers remain issues.
