Rookies making impact in Browns camp

BEREA, Ohio (AP) All eyes in Cleveland Browns camp are on an impressive rookie crop.

Led by a pair of first-round draft picks, running back Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden, the Browns could possibly have four rookie starters on offense.

On Monday, fourth-round choice James-Michael Johnson had two interceptions to put in an early claim for a job on defense in the season opener against Philadelphia at home Sept. 9.

Johnson could fill the void when veteran linebacker Scott Fujita misses the first three games on suspension for his part in the New Orleans' bounty scandal.

Wide receiver Josh Gordon and tackle Mitchell Schwartz also are working with the first-team offense.
