Vikes sign rookie CB Robinson; Kalil deal not done

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Vikings have signed third-round draft pick Josh Robinson, the cornerback from Central Florida.

Robinson's deal was done Wednesday, the day before players are required to report to training camp at Minnesota State University in Mankato.

He's the ninth member of Minnesota's 10-player draft class from this year to sign, leaving one - the most important one - left as the first practice looms Friday morning. First-rounder Matt Kalil has yet to agree on a contract. The left tackle from USC was the third overall pick in the draft.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman says he expects the entire team to be at camp on time.

Robinson skipped his senior season at UCF. He posted the fastest 40-yard dash time at the NFL scouting combine, at 4.33 seconds.
