Miss. grand jury not indicting Brandi Favre

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) A Mississippi grand jury has decided not to indict Brandi Favre, the sister of former NFL quarterback Brett Favre, after it found there was not enough evidence to link her to charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/Nb42jy ) that a Hancock County grand jury returned a no true bill on charges against the 35-year-old Favre, of Pass Christian. She was among five people arrested Jan. 12, 2011, at a Diamondhead condo during an investigation of alleged meth manufacturing.

The newspaper reports that three of the other four were indicted.

Sheriff's officials said the arrests were made after uncover agents bought meth from two of the suspects at a gas station off Interstate 10. Agents went to one suspect's condominium and said they found an active meth lab.
