Eagles take WR Marvin McNutt in 6th round
PHILADELPHIA (AP) The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Iowa wide receiver Marvin McNutt with the first of their two picks in the sixth round of the NFL draft.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound McNutt had 82 catches for 1,315 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior. He gives the Eagles a sizable receiver that could make an impact inside the red zone.
Scouting reports say McNutt is strong, powerful and has above-average quickness. He's a solid route-runner and blocks well in the run game.
