Vikings take Arkansas WR Childs in 4th round

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Vikings have selected Arkansas receiver Greg Childs with their third pick in the fourth-round.

Childs got off to a promising start with the Razorbacks, but suffered a left knee injury in the eighth game of his junior season and was limited last year to 21 catches for 240 yards and no touchdowns. In Minnesota, he'll join teammate Jarius Wright, who was chosen by the Vikings earlier in the fourth round.

The Vikings also took Southern Cal tight end/fullback Rhett Ellison with the 128th overall selection.

They have now made three of their nine picks on the final day of the draft. They have two picks in the fifth round, one in the sixth and two more in the seventh before the day is over.
