The Chiefs have re-signed Jake O'Connell and released Anthony Becht. The team made the announcement early Wednesday. Analysis: O'Connell was waived by the Chiefs on Sept. 16, when the team brought back Becht. He had been released after signing late in training camp to provide depth following a season-ending knee injury to starting tight end Tony Moeaki. O'Connell has appeared in 20 games with four starts over parts of three seasons with the Chiefs. The former seventh-round pick has six catches for 53 yards in his career. |
