Bowen's deal was announced Thursday by his agent on Twitter. The Redskins can't announce the deal until Friday under NFL rules. Analysis: ESPN reported that Bowen agreed a five-year, $27.5 million deal that includes $12.5 million in guaranteed money. Bowen played five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He started nine games last year and had 1 1/2 sacks. Bowen made the Cowboys' roster in 2006 as an undrafted free agent out of Hofstra. |
