| Mar. 20 1:34 PM PT2:34 PM MT3:34 PM CT4:34 PM ET20:34 GMT4:34 AM 北京时间1:34 PM MST3:34 PM EST2:34 PM CT0:34 UAE (+1)16:34 ET - A person familiar with the deal says the Detroit Lions and linebacker Stephen Tulloch have agreed to a five-year contract. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the transaction hadn't been announced. Analysis: Re-signing Tulloch was one of the Lions' top priorities this offseason. They extended Calvin Johnson's contract, retained Cliff Avril with a franchise tag and re-signed Jeff Backus and Shaun Hill. The only player Detroit wanted back that won't return is cornerback Eric Wright. Tulloch made a team-high 111 tackles with the Lions after signing a one-year deal last summer. He led Tennessee in tackles the previous two years after being drafted by the Titans in 2006. |
