Terms of the deal were not immediately available Sunday.
Analysis: The 6-foot-6, 321-pound veteran should help solidify the Colts' interior line. Starting guard Donald Thomas missed most of the last two seasons with injuries and last season, and Indy used three different starting centers last season. Herremans was a model of consistency for most of his career in Philadelphia. He started 124 games over the past 10 seasons and has started at least six games at four different positions during his career.

Analysis: The 32-year-old Herremans started 132 games while playing his first 10 seasons in Philadelphia. The move announced Friday saves the Eagles $2.8 million under the 2015 salary cap. Coach Chip Kelly says Herremans was the "ultimate professional" and praised his toughness. Herremans tried to play through a torn biceps last year but had surgery and missed the last eight games.
