He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: At this point, Smith isn't going to be anything more than a fill in if your starting quarterback happens to be on a bye. He'll likely be on the waiver wire in your league next season.
|Jan. 1, 20176:51 PM PT7:51 PM MT8:51 PM CT9:51 PM ET2:51 GMT10:51 AM 北京时间7:51 PM MST9:51 PM EST8:51 PM CT6:51 UAE (+1)21:51 ETNaN: - Alex Smith was 21 of 28 for 264 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 37-27 win over the San Diego Chargers. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time. Smith added 21 rushing yards on six carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Smith ran for a score for the third straight week and fifth time this season, and it's those rushing contributions that make him a halfway-decent fantasy option. On Sunday, he threw for more than one touchdown for the first time since Week 7, and his 15 TD passes for the season were his fewest since joining the Chiefs in 2013. However, he did set a career high with 3,502 passing yards.

|Dec. 18, 20164:52 PM PT5:52 PM MT6:52 PM CT7:52 PM ET0:52 GMT8:52 AM 北京时间5:52 PM MST7:52 PM EST6:52 PM CT4:52 UAE (+1)19:52 ETNaN: - Alex Smith was 15 of 28 for 163 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 19-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time. Smith added 11 rushing yards on four carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Smith struggled a bit in the frigid conditions in Kansas City. Smith had his second-lowest passing yardage total of the season, just his sixth INT of the year and the first time in five games he failed to throw a TD pass.
|Dec. 8, 20168:42 PM PT9:42 PM MT10:42 PM CT11:42 PM ET4:42 GMT12:42 AM 北京时间9:42 PM MST11:42 PM EST10:42 PM CT8:42 UAE23:42 ETNaN: - Alex Smith was 17 of 26 for 264 yards and threw one touchdown pass Thursday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 21-13 win over the Oakland Raiders. He threw one interception, fumbled once and was sacked one time. Smith added three rushing yards on four carries.
Analysis: Smith went 11 of 16 for 203 yards and a TD in the first half Thursday, but was 6 of 10 for 61 yards with a pick in the second half. Smith hasn't thrown for over 300 yards since the season opener and has just 10 TD passes in the ensuing 11 games, but the Chiefs have won eight.
|Dec. 4, 20162:06 PM PT3:06 PM MT4:06 PM CT5:06 PM ET22:06 GMT6:06 AM 北京时间3:06 PM MST5:06 PM EST4:06 PM CT2:06 UAE (+1)17:06 ETNaN: - Alex Smith was 21 of 25 for 270 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 29-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked one time.
Analysis: If fantasy leagues were won on a lack of mistakes, Smith would be the MVP. He's only thrown four interceptions, but unfortunately with that comes just 11 TDs.
|Nov. 28, 20169:16 PM PT10:16 PM MT11:16 PM CT12:16 AM ET5:16 GMT1:16 PM 北京时间10:16 PM MST12:16 AM EST11:16 PM CT9:16 UAE0:16 ETNaN: - Alex Smith was 26 of 44 for 220 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 30-27 win over the Denver Broncos. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked six times. Smith added two rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis: Smith didn't pile up the yardage despite an extra 15 minutes and hasn't thrown for 300 yards since the season opener. Facing Denver's defense isn't easy for any quarterback and Smith should find things a little easier next week against Atlanta.
|Nov. 20, 20162:25 PM PT3:25 PM MT4:25 PM CT5:25 PM ET22:25 GMT6:25 AM 北京时间3:25 PM MST5:25 PM EST4:25 PM CT2:25 UAE (+1)17:25 ETNaN: - Alex Smith was 24 of 31 for 261 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 19-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked. Smith added 10 rushing yards on two carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: As fantasy performances go for Smith, this was a productive one. He averaged 8.42 yards per attempt.
|Nov. 13, 20166:17 PM PT7:17 PM MT8:17 PM CT9:17 PM ET2:17 GMT10:17 AM 北京时间7:17 PM MST9:17 PM EST8:17 PM CT6:17 UAE (+1)21:17 ETNaN: - Smith was 25 of 38 for 178 yards with no touchdowns and one INT on Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 20-17 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Analysis: Smith was inactive for last Sunday's game against Jacksonville after having his head slammed hard off the turf in the Chiefs' victory at Indianapolis the previous week.
|Nov. 2, 20169:44 AM PT10:44 AM MT11:44 AM CT12:44 PM ET16:44 GMT12:44 AM 北京时间9:44 AM MST11:44 AM EST10:44 AM CT20:44 UAE12:44 ETNaN: - Barring any setbacks, Chiefs coach Andy Reid announced Monday that Smith will start this weekend's game at Carolina.
Analysis: Smith was inactive for Sunday's game against Jacksonville after having his head slammed hard off the turf in the Chiefs' victory at Indianapolis the previous week. Nick Foles started in Smith's place and performed solidly in a 19-14 win over the Jaguars, keeping open the possibility of a potential quarterback controversy.
|Oct. 30, 20169:29 AM PT10:29 AM MT11:29 AM CT12:29 PM ET16:29 GMT12:29 AM 北京时间9:29 AM MST11:29 AM EST10:29 AM CT20:29 UAE12:29 ETNaN: - Smith has been removed from Sunday's game at Indianapolis after sustaining a concussion in the third quarter.
Analysis: It's the second time Smith has left the contest with a suspected head injury, and this time it's for good after his head hit hard against the turf as he slid on a scramble. He briefly exited in the first half after taking a hard shot from Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson, but passed a concussion test and was diagnosed with a cut on his ear. Smith completed 9 of 19 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown before exiting.
|Oct. 23, 20163:20 PM PT4:20 PM MT5:20 PM CT6:20 PM ET22:20 GMT6:20 AM 北京时间3:20 PM MST5:20 PM EST5:20 PM CT2:20 UAE (+1)18:20 ETNaN: - Smith helped the Chiefs defeat New Orleans on Sunday with an efficient 17-of-24, 214-yard, two-touchdown, turnover-free performance under center.
Analysis: The veteran quarterback continues to do what he does, limiting his mistakes and completing a high percentage of throws while putting up ordinary yardage totals. With just seven TD passes in six games, Smith's value is generally limited to two-quarterback fantasy leagues.
|Oct. 16, 20163:32 PM PT4:32 PM MT5:32 PM CT6:32 PM ET22:32 GMT6:32 AM 北京时间3:32 PM MST5:32 PM EST5:32 PM CT2:32 UAE (+1)18:32 ET21:32 - Smith was 19 of 22 for 224 yards in Sunday's 26-10 win at Oakland.
Analysis: Smith improved to 8-1 in nine career starts against the Raiders. He entered the game with a 106.1 career passer rating against Oakland and was even better Sunday, posting a 109.1 mark for the day. The Chiefs host the Saints next week, and Smith is 0-3 in three career starts against them, passing for three TDs with five interceptions. However, he hasn't faced them since 2010.
|Oct. 3, 20169:10 PM PT10:10 PM MT11:10 PM CT12:10 AM ET4:10 GMT12:10 PM 北京时间9:10 PM MST11:10 PM EST11:10 PM CT8:10 UAE0:10 ET3:10 - Smith completed 30 of 50 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in the Chiefs' 43-14 Week 4 loss at Pittsburgh.
Analysis: Smith put up good fantasy numbers on a night the Chiefs played from behind the entire way, as he won't be airing it out 50 times most weeks. He's still best served as a bye-week fill-in in Kansas City's conservative offense.
|Sep. 25, 20165:22 PM PT6:22 PM MT7:22 PM CT8:22 PM ET0:22 GMT8:22 AM 北京时间5:22 PM MST7:22 PM EST7:22 PM CT4:22 UAE (+1)20:22 ET23:22 - Smith had a strong performance Sunday in a 24-3 win over the Jets, going 25 of 33 for 237 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions for the second straight week.
Analysis: One area where Smith is lacking this season is the ground game. After rushing for a career-best 498 yards last season, he's totaled just 14 yards through three games. Smith, however, has been effective in the passing game, completing 66.9 percent of his passes for 786 yards.
|Sep. 18, 20163:07 PM PT4:07 PM MT5:07 PM CT6:07 PM ET22:07 GMT6:07 AM 北京时间3:07 PM MST5:07 PM EST5:07 PM CT2:07 UAE (+1)18:07 ET21:07 - Smith was 20 of 37 for 186 yards on Sunday against the Chiefs.
Analysis: Smith took a step back from Week 1 when he threw for 363 with two TDs in the comeback win over San Diego.
|Sep. 11, 20162:09 PM PT3:09 PM MT4:09 PM CT5:09 PM ET21:09 GMT5:09 AM 北京时间2:09 PM MST4:09 PM EST4:09 PM CT1:09 UAE (+1)17:09 ET20:09 - Smith was outstanding in leading the Chiefs to the biggest rally in franchise history for a 33-27 overtime win against San Diego on Sunday. He was 34 of 48 for 363 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Analysis: The 363 yards is the second-highest total of Smith's career, 23 shy of his personal best set Oct. 4, 2015 at Cincinnati. After struggling in the first, Smith came alive in the second and threw for 269 yards while leading his team to three straight scoring drives to force OT.
|Aug. 27, 201612:43 PM PT1:43 PM MT2:43 PM CT3:43 PM ET19:43 GMT3:43 AM 北京时间12:43 PM MST2:43 PM EST2:43 PM CT23:43 UAE15:43 ET18:43 - Smith was sharp in leading three scoring drives in the first half and the Chiefs got a 23-7 preseason victory over the Bears on Saturday.
Analysis: Smith completed 20 of 30 passes for 181 yards before Nick Foles came in to start the third quarter.
