Analysis: Betts joined the club during training camp, was cut before the regular season and then brought back after Reggie Bush broke a bone in his lower right leg in Week 2. Betts played in eight games, gaining 150 yards on 45 carries with two touchdowns. He also had 23 catches for 141 yards. Betts sat out the past two games with a neck injury and now Bush is back and running back Pierre Thomas appears ready to return.

Analysis: Rotating with untested rookie Chris Ivory, he accounted for a team-high five first downs and consistently put the Saints in short-yardage situations. On one play, he caught a swing pass and bowled over two defenders near the sideline for an 8-yard gain to move the chains.
|Oct. 4 12:10 PM PT1:10 PM MT2:10 PM CT3:10 PM ET19:10 GMT3:10 AM 北京时间12:10 PM MST2:10 PM EST1:10 PM CT23:10 UAE - Betts rushed for 47 yards on a team-high 13 carries and caught four passes for 23 yards in Sunday's 16-14 win over Carolina.
Analysis: With Pierre Thomas out of action, Betts played a significant role in the offense. Christopher Ivory also received 12 carries, but fumbled for the second straight week and could be losing favor with the coaching staff. If Thomas remains out next week, Betts makes for a fine play against Arizona's 29th-ranked rush defense.

Betts, who played eight years for Washington, is trying to come back from a serious left knee injury last season. He played in two preseason games with the Saints, rushing nine times for 53 yards and making five catches for 24 yards.
