Analysis: Savage was slow to his feet after he was hit in the end zone by 49ers defensive end Elvis Dumervil with just under 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter.

He threw two interceptions, fumbled once and was sacked two times.
Analysis: Savage threw two picks and lost a fumble. He leads the league in lost fumbles despite sitting behind Deshaun Watson for multiple weeks. Savage has thrown for 922 yards in his last four games but it's hard to overlook four TDs and five interceptions plus six fumbles.
|Nov. 19, 2017 6:32 PM PT7:32 PM MT8:32 PM CT9:32 PM ET2:32 GMT10:32 7:32 PM MST9:32 PM EST8:32 PM CT6:32 UAE (+1)21:32 ETNaN: - Tom Savage was 22 of 32 for 230 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Houston Texans' 31-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He threw one interception, fumbled once and was sacked one time. Savage added three rushing yards on one carry.
Analysis: Savage showed a lot of growth in this one despite a pair of turnovers, and it seems he may have some potential after all.
|Nov. 13, 2017 8:54 AM PT9:54 AM MT10:54 AM CT11:54 AM ET16:54 GMT0:54 9:54 AM MST11:54 AM EST10:54 AM CT20:54 UAE11:54 ETNaN: - According to reports, Savage will start Sunday when the Texans host the Cardinals.
Analysis: Savage was picked off twice and fumbled two times in Sunday's loss to the Rams, but apparently coach Bill O'Brien believes he is still the best option to lead the Texans. He has no real fantasy value in all fantasy formats at the moment.
|Nov. 12, 2017 4:56 PM PT5:56 PM MT6:56 PM CT7:56 PM ET0:56 GMT8:56 5:56 PM MST7:56 PM EST6:56 PM CT4:56 UAE (+1)19:56 ETNaN: - Tom Savage was 18 of 36 for 221 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Houston Texans' 33-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He threw two interceptions, fumbled twice and was sacked three times.
Analysis: After completing 43.2 percent of his passes and averaging 4.98 yards per attempt in his first start since taking over for the injured Deshaun Watson, Savage was at 50 percent and 6.14 yards.
|Nov. 5, 2017 1:26 PM PT2:26 PM MT3:26 PM CT4:26 PM ET21:26 GMT5:26 2:26 PM MST4:26 PM EST3:26 PM CT1:26 UAE (+1)16:26 ETNaN: - Tom Savage was 19 of 44 for 219 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Houston Texans' 20-14 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. |Oct. 1, 2017 12:48 PM PT1:48 PM MT2:48 PM CT3:48 PM ET19:48 GMT3:48 12:48 PM MST2:48 PM EST2:48 PM CT23:48 UAE15:48 ETNaN: - Tom Savage will start on Sunday after Deshaun Watson suffered a knee injury in practice.
Analysis: The Texans struggled early in the season when Savage was under center and this figures to downgrade just about every player on Houston's offense.
|Sep. 12, 2017 3:05 PM PT4:05 PM MT5:05 PM CT6:05 PM ET22:05 GMT6:05 3:05 PM MST5:05 PM EST5:05 PM CT2:05 UAE (+1)18:05 ETNaN: - It appears Savage will head to the bench in Week 2. Deshaun Watson is reportedly set to start Thursday night against the Bengals.
Analysis: Savage was benched after being sacked six times and otherwise performing poorly in Week 1, so apparently the Texans have decided to look to the future immediately.
|Sep. 10, 2017 3:47 PM PT4:47 PM MT5:47 PM CT6:47 PM ET22:47 GMT6:47 3:47 PM MST5:47 PM EST5:47 PM CT2:47 UAE (+1)18:47 ETNaN: - Savage was pulled from the season opener against Jacksonville after just one half. Houston's offense failed to move the ball for two quarters during which Savage managed just 62 yards passing and lost two fumbles, including one which was returned for a touchdown to leave the Texans in a 19-0 hole at halftime.
Analysis: The switch leaves questions about who will start on Thursday night at Cincinnati for a team long plagued with problems at the position. "We've got a quick turnaround here so we've got a lot of film to watch, a lot of things to get caught up on," coach Bill O'Brien said.
|Aug. 27, 2017 9:54 AM PT10:54 AM MT11:54 AM CT12:54 PM ET16:54 GMT0:54 9:54 AM MST11:54 AM EST11:54 AM CT20:54 UAE12:54 ETNaN: - Savage struggled to move Houston's offense on Saturday night. His popular backup, first-round draft choice Deshaun Watson, didn't do much to distinguish himself, either.
Analysis: Savage was 10 of 16 for 79 yards for Houston (1-2). Watson was 11 of 21 for 116 yards and also scrambled twice for 10 yards. Watson's potential to extend plays showed when he stepped up to avoid Swann's blitz, then delivered an accurate, off-balance, 22-yard pass to RaShaun Allen as he was being hit by lineman Tony McDaniel.
