Analysis: Wilson owners need to keep an eye on Bradshaw's status leading up to Sunday. Wilson could prove to be a top-10 option with a heavy workload. |

Analysis: Wilson broke out in a big way and may have earned himself a prominent role in the Giants' offense going forward. He's certainly worth snatching up if still available on the waiver wire. |

| Nov. 27 11:44 AM PT12:44 PM MT1:44 PM CT2:44 PM ET19:44 GMT3:44 AM 北京时间12:44 PM MST2:44 PM EST1:44 PM CT23:44 UAE14:44 17:44 - The New York Giants no longer have the time to groom rookie running back David Wilson. The first-round draft pick is going to have to start contributing as Ahmad Bradshaw's backup in the final five games of the regular season, starting Monday against the Washington Redskins. Analysis: Wilson was thrown into the backup job Sunday, when Andre Brown broke his left leg in the fourth quarter of New York's 38-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. On most teams, the backup role might mean a couple of carries a game. For the Giants (7-4), though, the role is different because of Bradshaw's foot problems. He has dealt with them for years, usually playing in pain. One bad step, and Wilson becomes the No. 1 back ... in the middle of a playoff race. |
