The lawsuit was filed Friday in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on behalf of Ricquan James, Niya Pickett and Brentley Williams. They are seeking more than $15,000 in damages.
Analysis: According to the lawsuit, the Pounceys harassed James with homophobic remarks and physically attacked him July 12. The lawsuit says Pickett was beaten when she tried to intervene and Williams was injured when the Pounceys threw James and Pickett out of the club. The Pounceys' attorney has said the brothers were not involved in any altercation.

Pouncey was injured during offseason workouts and underwent surgery Monday that will likely sideline him for at least a couple of games in September.
Analysis: Pouncey also faces a possible suspension from the NFL. He's the only player implicated in last year's bullying scandal still on the Dolphins' roster.
|May 9 12:48 PM PT1:48 PM MT2:48 PM CT3:48 PM ET19:48 GMT3:48 AM 北京时间12:48 PM MST2:48 PM EST2:48 PM CT23:48 UAE15:48 ET18:48 - Pouncey has heard from management regarding a tweet he sent that joked about hazing the team's first-round draft pick. The jest fell flat in the wake of the Dolphins' 2013 bullying scandal, in which Pouncey was implicated. The Dolphins took Tennessee tackle Ja'Wuan James with the 19th overall choice Thursday. "Great pick! I can't wait for our gifts he's getting us lol," Pouncey tweeted.
Analysis: Pressure on tackle Jonathan Martin to give other linemen gifts was part of an alleged pattern of harassment in the bullying scandal. On Friday, general manager Dennis Hickey said he cleared the air with Pouncey. Hickey said lighthearted jokes on social media can be taken out of context, and players need to make good choices about what they say.
