Analysis: Dareus' attorney Michael Caffery said Thursday he and the Erie County District Attorney's office are still "trying to work it out" following a brief appearance in Hamburg Town Court. Judge Gerald Gorman tentatively scheduled a hearing for April 7 should the two sides reach an agreement. If not, Dareus' case will go to trial on May 19.
