Analysis: Brent appeared in court Friday for a hearing. He's been free on $100,000 bond, but prosecutors say he violated the terms of his release by setting off an alcohol monitoring device and failing to download data from it as required. Judge Robert Burns said Friday that he would not raise Brent's bond, but ordered the extra monitoring. |

Police say Brent had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit for driving. Analysis: Prosecutors allege Brent violated conditions of his release by tampering with a device that monitors his body for the presence of alcohol. That device raised one such alert. A hearing is scheduled for Friday morning on the bond revocation motion. Brent's football career remains on hold pending the outcome of this case. He's scheduled for a fall trial date. |
