Gronkowski has been bothered by a groin injury and declared it was "nothing serious."
Analysis: "Am I good to go? Yeah, I'm good to go," Gronkowski told reporters after Friday's practice. "I'm ready."
Sep. 18, 2017 2:24 PM PT3:24 PM MT4:24 PM CT5:24 PM ET21:24 GMT5:24 2:24 PM MST4:24 PM EST4:24 PM CT1:24 UAE (+1)17:24 ETNaN: - Gronkowski says the groin injury he suffered in New Orleans is not serious and pronounced himself as "day to day" regarding this week's game against the Houston Texans.
Analysis: "The reports say out there that it was my groin and, yes, it is my groin," the oft-injured New England star tight end said Monday of the injury that caused him to leave Sunday's 36-20 Patriots victory over the Saints. "It's nothing serious and I'm just day to day." Gronkowski, who missed most of the second half of last season and the Super Bowl because of back surgery, caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown before leaving after a third-quarter hit.
Sep. 17, 2017 2:10 PM PT3:10 PM MT4:10 PM CT5:10 PM ET21:10 GMT5:10 2:10 PM MST4:10 PM EST4:10 PM CT1:10 UAE (+1)17:10 ETNaN: - Rob Gronkowski had six receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown Sunday in the New England Patriots' 36-20 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Analysis: Gronk exited with a groin injury, so it remains to be seen how serious the matter is.
Sep. 8, 2017 9:41 PM PT10:41 PM MT11:41 PM CT12:41 AM ET4:41 GMT12:41 9:41 PM MST11:41 PM EST11:41 PM CT8:41 UAE0:41 ETNaN: - Rob Gronkowski had two receptions for 33 yards Thursday in the New England Patriots' 42-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Analysis: Gronk drew six targets but was mostly a non-factor as Chiefs All-Pro safety Eric Berry shadowed him for most of the night. The positive is the oft-injured tight end appeared to come out of the game healthy. Gronkowski should put up more customary numbers next week against the Saints.
July 27, 2017 7:38 AM PT8:38 AM MT9:38 AM CT10:38 AM ET14:38 GMT22:38 7:38 AM MST9:38 AM EST9:38 AM CT18:38 UAE10:38 ETNaN: - Patriots coach Bill Belichick told reporters Gronkowski will not be under any restrictions during training camp.
Analysis: Gronkowski also wasn't limited during offseason work, so it's safe to assume last year's back issues that required season-ending surgery are behind him. The perennial All-Pro should again be among the elite fantasy tight ends provided he can maintain good health, though that's surely not a given.
