Analysis: The operation took place Tuesday at a hospital in Marina Del Rey, Calif. The two-time Pro Bowl selection is expected to require up to 12 weeks of recovery time. That means Pierre-Paul will miss all of training camp and most of the preseason, but should be ready for the Giants' regular-season opener against Dallas on Sept. 8. Pierre-Paul had been bothered by the nagging back problem last season. |
