Ball State rallies past Western Michigan 22-17

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) Charlie Todd returned a punt 87 yards for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter for the game-winning points in Ball State's 22-17 victory over Western Michigan on Tuesday night.

MiQuale Lewis' 3-yard run accounted for Ball State's only offensive touchdown. Ian McGarvey kicked three field goals for the Cardinals (2-10, 2-6 Mid-American).

Tim Hiller completed 33 of 62 passes for 354 yards and a touchdown for the Broncos (5-7, 4-4), but he was intercepted four times. (MORE)
