WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) Kyle Nolan ran 18 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns as Georgetown defeated Holy Cross 28-21 on Saturday in the season finale for both teams.
Nolan ran for a 1-yard score in the second quarter to tie the game at 14-14. After two third-quarter field goals by Matt MacZura put Georgetown (2-9, 1-4 Patriot League) up 20-14, Nolan ran for an 82-yard touchdown with 1:57 to play in the fourth to extend the Hoyas' lead to 28-14.
Georgetown also scored on a 5-yard run by Joel Kimpela in the first. The Hoyas rushed for 212 yards and had 439 yards of total offense.
