Buffalo football program promotes Ianello to full-time job

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Longtime college assistant coach Rob Ianello is joining Lance Leipold's new staff in Buffalo on a full-time basis.

Ianello was named associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, and will also coach receivers. He previously served as a voluntary adviser at Buffalo since Leipold was hired last month.

Ianello has more than 25 years of coaching experience at the college level, and is regarded a top recruiter. He spent the previous two years as recruiting coordinator and receivers coach at Kansas.
