Old Dominion comes back, beats James Madison 38-28
HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) Taylor Heinicke's four second-half touchdown passes helped Old Dominion come back from a 21-10 halftime deficit to beat James Madison 38-28 in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Old Dominion finished 7-1 atop the Colonial Athletic Association standings but is ineligible for the title due its move to Conference USA next season. Four teams - Towson, Villanova, Richmond, New Hampshire - finished 6-2.
