North Dakota State beats Indiana State 27-16

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) D.J. McNorton ran for 100 yards and a touchdown Saturday and North Dakota State remained unbeaten with a 27-16 victory over Indiana State.

Brock Jensen threw a touchdown pass for the Bison (9-0, 6-0 Missouri Valley), who went ahead to stay on Sam Ojuri's 7-yard TD run in the second quarter that made it 17-10.

McNorton's 4-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter put it out of reach at 27-10. The Sycamores (5-4, 3-3) scored the game's final touchdown with 3 minutes to play on Ronnie Fouch's second TD pass of the game, a 2-yarder to Donald Spencer. Justin Hilton caught four passes for 103 yards for Indiana State.

Jensen was 17 of 30 for 182 yards and the TD, a 30-yarder to Warren Holloway.

The Bison have two regular-season games remaining, at home next week against Youngstown State and at Western Illinois Nov. 19.
