Brown's 6 treys lead Furman over Western Carolina 78-55

CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) Andrew Brown made six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to lead Furman to a 78-55 victory over Western Carolina on Friday night for its fifth straight win.

Furman (21-9, 12-5 Southern Conference) will finish no better than third place in the conference standings behind UNC Greensboro and East Tennessee State (both 14-3). The Paladins conclude the regular season against ETSU on Sunday.

Western Carolina (12-18, 7-10) has lost five in a row.
