Texas-Pan American defeats New Orleans 71-57

EDINBURG, Texas (AP) Brandon Provost had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Texas-Pan American defeated New Orleans 71-57 on Sunday.

Jesus Delgado added 14 points and seven assists, and Aaron Urbanus scored 11 points for the Broncs (15-15). UTPA heated up in the second half, shooting 61 percent from the field after only making 27 percent of its first-half shots.

The Broncs host NJIT on Saturday before playing in their final Great West Conference tournament. UTPA will be in the Western Athletic Conference next season.
