Davidson rallies past Appalachian State 65-62

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) Jake Cohen scored 17 points and De'Mon Brooks 16 to lead Davidson past Appalachian State 65-62 Sunday in the Southern Conference semifinals for its 16th straight win.

Tyler Kalinoski added 11 and Chris Czerapowicz 10 for the Wildcats, whose winning streak is the second longest in the nation behind Middle Tennessee State (17).

Davidson (25-7) drew the game to a 28-all tie 15 seconds into the second half before Appalachian State reeled off 13 straight points to take its largest lead of the game, 41-28.
