UNC-Wilmington beats VMI 115-95

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) John Fields scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and North Carolina-Wilmington set a single-game scoring record with a 115-95 win over Virginia Military Institute on Tuesday night.

The Seahawks (2-4) snapped a two-game losing streak, shooting 63.3 percent from the floor (42-for-66).

Fields notched his second straight double-double, and Chad Tomko added 20 points and 12 assists. (MORE)
