Mississippi State beats Texas-Pan American 75-50

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) Jarvis Varnado had 12 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks to lead Mississippi State to a 75-50 victory over Texas-Pan American on Tuesday night.

Mississippi State (3-1) shot 52.6 percent from the field and hit nine shots from beyond the arc.

The Bulldogs held the Broncs (0-5) to 19-for-65 shooting from the field, and have held their past three opponents to an average of 38.8 percent shooting. (MORE)
