Mullings helps New Mexico State defeat Idaho 65-49

LAS VEGAS (AP) Daniel Mullings scored 23 points to lead New Mexico State over Idaho 65-49 Thursday in the Western Athletic Conference quarterfinals.

Mullings was 10 of 14 from the field for the game for New Mexico State (22-10). Bandja Sy added 14 points and had seven rebounds. Sim Bhullar had seven points and seven rebounds.

No. 3 seed New Mexico State led 32-28 at halftime.
