WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Yolonzo Moore II scored 21 points - all in the second half - and Mark Nwakamma added 19 as Hartford consistently built upon an early lead to beat Holy Cross 90-78 on Saturday night.
Moore shot 60 percent from the field (6 of 10) and hit 8 of 10 from the line in the second half. Nwakamma and Moore led four other Hawks (3-7) in double figures - Nate Sikma (15), Evan Cooper (14), Corban Wroe (11) and Wes Cole (10).
Hartford ended the first half with a six-point lead and gradually built on it during the final 20 minutes. Holy Cross (5-4) cut a 12-point deficit back to six with 11:13 left to play, but could not catch the Hawks.
