(AP) -- Lehigh guard and NBA draft hopeful C.J. McCollum is back practicing at full speed three months after suffering a left foot injury that cut short the senior's college career.
The preseason All-American said Friday in a conference call that he resumed normal practice activities last week. McCollum says getting his timing down might have been the biggest initial challenge, but otherwise he's hitting jump shots, ball-handling and even dunking.
McCollum didn't play after Jan. 5, when he broke his left foot during a 59-55 loss at Virginia Commonwealth. He was leading the country in scoring (25.7 points) at the time of the injury.
