Thomas' late basket lifts IUPUI over IPFW 66-63

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Stephen Thomas' 3-pointer with 24 seconds remaining Saturday gave IUPUI a 66-63 come-from-behind win over IPFW.

Alex Young scored 21 points and Thomas added 20 to lead IUPUI, which hadn't led since just under 15 minutes remained. IPFW led 55-45 before the Jaguars began their comeback.

Christian Siakam had 15 points, including the tying free throws with 1:10 left, and a team-high seven rebounds for the Jaguars (10-15, 4-9 Summit), who have won back-to-back games after losing seven straight.

Trey McCorkle led the Mastodons (10-13, 4-10) with 14 points and seven rebounds. Frank Gaines and Mario Hines each scored 13 for IPFW, which has lost of seven of its last eight games.
