Ohio dominates Central Michigan 68-42
The Bobcats (19-4, 7-2 Mid-American Conference) matched their win total for all of last season.
Kellogg and D.J. Cooper combined to open the game with three straight 3-pointers, putting Ohio up 9-1 early. The Bobcats pushed that lead to 24-14 after a Cooper free throw.
Cooper, who scored all nine of his points in the first half, hit three free throws at the end of the period to give the Bobcats a 33-20 lead at halftime.
Ohio (7-15, 2-7) pulled away in the second half, taking a 56-33 lead after Kellogg knocked down his fourth 3-pointer off the day.
Oliver Mbaigoto led Central Michigan with 14 but the Chippewas shot just 28.8 percent (15 of 52), including 4 of 23 from deep.
